I am new at promoting on Folksy, I hope to make new Friends as I promote my shops on the Folksy Site.
Some of you may already have seen my first blog, I shall add projects as I do them and my fellow sellers at folksy
Here are my new project at present, one of many, I had twins over 30 years ago this month both were premature babies one 3lb 11oz and one 4lb 1 oz it was hard to get items to fit them and I became interest in very small items.
I am presently making cocoons for prem babies to keep them warm when coming home for the first time. This pattern also has a hat at present,
I have used a Shifio pattern, (Pattern 153 – Emmy Sac/Papoose size 10″ to 12″) I love these patterns as they are so clear and easy to use. I rarely use patterns I like to make my own patterns but I would recommend these suppliers.
These are pictures of a completed cocoon which needs to be finished off, I am thinking maybe a shawl to go round baby aswell or for when baby bigger. what do you think ?
also started a lemon one, as you can one piece for cocoon then join seam and hat only just starting this one………………..
As you can see I love bright colours in everything I do…
My grand daughter got me hooked on making clothes for Barbie type dolls, she gives me some great ideas and I have some too.
I just love making these clothes
